Background
Lindsay has developed the G-Cloud Success Pathway, a methodology and framework for assessing what prevents a successful B2B SaaS product from getting traction on G-Cloud. Drawing on this and his 25-year experience in the software industry he establishes a no-frills get-well plan. The SaaS supplier can implement this using internal resources or optionally drawing on Advice Cloud’s experienced personnel to collaborate and help execute the plan.
Who does it work for?
The G-Cloud Success Pathway is aimed at SaaS vendors with their own B2B product which they seek to lift and shift from the B2B market to the B2G spectrum. It does not suit resellers of global brands – who have a very different marketing proposition.
The give-away package comprises:
- Discovery
- Investigation and analysis
- Collaborative workshop (problem solving, gap analysis, outline plan, go/no-go)
- Deliverable: a short-form report summarising the outline plan and salient steps
The objective is to support the client to first reach a ‘go/no-go’ decision, “is this likely to work with available resources?”, and then provide the practical road-map to take the project forward. Low on ceremony, high on impact.

There are two listing reviews up for grabs. Our team of G-Cloud experts will go through your listing with a fine tooth comb and give you valuable insights that will help you sell your solution to government.
The report will include a full review of your:
- Front end listing – this will include an analysis of your service summary, features, benefits, ongoing support and much more.
- Attachments –we will analyse your pricing document, service definition and terms and conditions.
Your listing is one of the most important aspects of your sales strategy. It needs to be compliant but also go beyond that. To stick out of the crowd, it needs to be of great quality. With our recommendations, it will be!
Terms
Travel & accommodation expenses are not part of the give-away bundle, so if you enjoy an office location away from the capital’s congested streets we will manage the face-time aspects of the project digitally or you may elect to reimburse expenses.
To build an understanding of your products, services and operations we will require access to information and key personnel. This is managed under our standard contract including mutual non-disclosure and liability limitation provisions. We will work with you to schedule convenient times for the project components.
We reserve the right to treat all three offers as lapsed if not completed by 31 March 2019 unless otherwise agreed in writing.
