Crown Commercial services have created a brand new framework for the NHS. The Digital Capability for Health framework is expected in August 2020 and is for the provision of digital solutions (with agile approaches), DevOps support and Data Management services. This is expected to be a great compliant route to market for the health sector.
Being introduced to compliment G-Cloud, this framework is for larger scale cloud computing solutions. Mainly IaaS and PaaS. Services that are suitable for this framework will have to meet the industry term of ‘hyperscale’ and be public cloud.
Expected in the Summer 2020 for applications, benefits of this framework – if you can meet its high demands – include direct award and call-off terms of up to three years (with extensions possible).
There will also be a Dynamic Purchasing System to go alongside this, called Cloud Compute Solutions DPS.
This framework from CCS is for the provision of back-office transformation projects. CCS are planning to focus on areas such as Enterprise Resource Planning, Human Capital Management, Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management and related enterprise level transformation solutions.
