The Spark DPS will enable government to have access to new and emerging technologies through a join anytime DPS. The Technology Innovation Marketplace has an estimated value of £20m in its first year, increasing to £50m in its third year. The DPS will have a filter system to help streamline the buyer journey.
Suppliers to this DPS will need to demonstrate that they can provide at least one new or innovative technology for one or both ‘Radical’ and ‘Disruptive’ Innovation.

The Scottish government recently published a contract notice for the creation of a Dynamic Purchasing System for the procurement of internet of things technology.
The DPS looks likely to be open in August in 2019 and run until August 2021.

CCS is seeking to establish an agreement for fibre optic infrastructure and services. The DPS will include dark fibre and lit services which public sector can deliver their network services. The agreement is being developed in partnership by the Department for Culture Media and Sports to provide a route to market for building upgrade projects.
The OJEU for this DPS is expected in September 2019 – so keep your eyes peeled!
NHS Supply Chain have recently published the spec for a renewal of the Medical IT framework. The new version of this framework is set to open November/December 2019.

Cyber Security Services 3 is the replacement for the current Cyber Security Services 2 framework. This agreement is still in the market engagement phase and CCS recently held a supplier engagement webinar, you can read the full summary here.
This agreement is likely to be let as a DPS and is expected to open in November 2019.
The Smart Cities Transport Technology Infrastructure framework will provide an easy route to market to purchase all highway and transport infrastructure, with or without a smart technology overlay.
This framework is still in the consultation phase, with OJEU anticipated in February 2020.
