G-Cloud 12 is now closed for applications!
The G-Cloud 12 framework is now closed for supplier applications. Here's what suppliers should be doing now...
As of today, 20th July, G-Cloud 12 has closed it’s doors for submissions! The 5pm deadline has been and gone, so anyone that wanted to get on to the framework should have already got their applications in.
The 12th iteration had a longer application window than many of it’s predecessors. Largely due to delays as a result of Covid-19. Because of this, we’re now expecting to see the framework go Live on September 28th 2020. Suppliers who submitted on time will be notified if they were successful by the 15th September, so keep an eye on your emails.
What can I do now that my G-Cloud 12 application is submitted?
There’s now two months until G-Cloud 12 goes Live but there’s a few things suppliers can do to get ready. One of these is making sure there’s a full understanding of the framework throughout your teams. If your sales people don’t know how it works, how can they let buyers know you can be procured through it? G-Cloud is a fast and compliant way to buy services for the public sector. If you can show you can save them time and effort when buying your services, they’ll be more inclined to work with you.
This might mean undertaken training, sharing your knowledge throughout your organisation or getting members of various teams involved in planning your strategy around G-Cloud. Which brings us to another thing suppliers can do…
We’ve said it time and time again, getting listed does not ensure business. You still need to incorporate G-Cloud into your Sales and Marketing Strategy and show the public sector market that you’re there and able to provide a good service. This includes attending events, getting your social media right, writing great content… all the things you’d do in any other market. Take this time to make sure you’ve got a plan and you’re able to hit the ground running come 28th September.
