Chris Farthing
CEO and Founder, Advice Cloud
Chris started Advice Cloud in 2013 after working as a public and private sector procurement executive, and realising that the suppliers who needed frameworks most were often the ones least equipped to navigate them. His driving purpose hasn't changed since day one: removing the barriers that stop good technology businesses from selling to the public sector.

Christina Smart
Campaign and Content Manager, Advice Cloud
With a background in psychology, Christina leads the campaigns and content strategy that helps tech suppliers understand and navigate the public sector procurement landscape. She translates complex framework processes into clear, useful content. On the day, she'll be keeping things moving and making sure your questions get answered.

Frequently asked questions
Who is this webinar for?
Technology suppliers selling, or planning to sell, into the UK public sector. Whether you're already on a framework or planning to bid for one in 2027, you'll leave with a clearer plan for where to look and what to bid for.
What is happening to Contracts Finder?
It is due to be switched off on 1st May 2027, with notices moving to Find a Tender. We'll cover what that means for how you find opportunities.
Do I need to be on a framework to attend?
No, the session is useful whether you're on a framework already or planning to apply for one.
Will you cover specific frameworks?
Yes. We'll walk through the 2027 framework calendar. Dates are estimates until each buyer confirms them, and we'll be clear about which are which.
Will there be a recording?
Yes. All registrants will receive the recording after the session, whether you attend live or not. We'd recommend joining live if you can, as the Q&A is your chance to put your questions directly to our team. If you can't be there, ask your question beforehand using the comment box in the registration form above.
How long is the session?
1 hour - 10:00am-11:00am GMT on Wednesday 27th January.
Is it free?
Completely free, no obligation. We run these sessions because we believe better-informed suppliers lead to better outcomes for the public sector.
Is there anything I should do beforehand?
A little preparation means you’ll get more out of the live walkthrough:
- Register on Find a Tender. It’s free and takes a few minutes. You need to be logged in to save searches and get email alerts, so having an account ready means you can set up your first alert while we do it live.
- Pick 2 or 3 buyers, contract types or frameworks you’d most like to win work from, so you can follow the live search with your own priorities in mind.
- Send us your questions. Add them to the comment box on the registration form, and Chris will cover as many as he can on the day.
