What you will learn
What the session covered
Where PSSS stands right now
PSSS (RM6396) is being developed by GCA to become the primary route to market for software procurement across the UK public sector, worth up to £12 billion. We'll cover what's confirmed so far, what's still unconfirmed, and what GCA has said at recent market engagement sessions.
What the certifications require
PSSS is expected to carry certification requirements including Cyber Essentials, ISO 9001, and ISO/IEC 27001, among others. We'll cover what each one involves, how long they take to get in place, and how to check whether you already qualify.
How to build a competitive application
A strong PSSS application takes more than meeting the minimum requirements. We'll cover what separates a strong submission from a weak one, and where suppliers most commonly lose marks.
Why timing matters more for PSSS
PSSS isn't planned to be operating as an open framework the way many others are right now under PA2023. We'll cover what we know about the application window, why certification and documentation take longer than people expect, and why waiting for the ITT to drop is already later than it looks.

Chris Farthing
CEO and Founder, Advice Cloud
Chris started Advice Cloud in 2013 after working as a public and private sector procurement executive, and realising that the suppliers who needed frameworks most were often the ones least equipped to navigate them. His driving purpose hasn't changed since day one: removing the barriers that stop good technology businesses from selling to the public sector.

Christina Smart
Campaign and Content Manager, Advice Cloud
With a background in psychology, Christina leads the campaigns and content strategy that helps tech suppliers understand and navigate the public sector procurement landscape. She translates complex framework processes into clear, useful content. On the day, she'll be keeping things moving and making sure your questions get answered.
