BREAKING NEWS: G-Cloud 10 is opening in April!
All change! Breaking news: G-Cloud 10 is now announced to open in April.
After rife speculation and following an official CCS announcement, we’re very pleased to confirm that G-Cloud 10 will be opening again for applications in April.
This is excellent news, meaning that suppliers will be able to list their new services or amend their existing ones, but also new suppliers will be able to join the framework providing government with much needed innovative tech. Chris had this to say on the matter:
Chris Farthing M.D, Advice CloudI think that this is a very positive step for both suppliers and buyers. Two years between iterations just isn’t acceptable in cloud world – in fact 12 months is a push so I very much welcome this move from CCS & the Digital Marketplace team.
From what we know so far, there won’t be many changes to G-Cloud 10 (TBC). The last iteration saw a major overhaul of the framework, with changes to Lot structure and security assertions. G-Cloud 10 will come out with much less hype
We expect the OJEU to come out in April with the usual 35 days to apply.
The Digital Outcomes and Specialist framework is expected to follow shortly afterwards.
