YPO Network Connectivity and Telecommunication Solutions is here
What is the new YPO Network Connectivity and Telecommunication Solutions framework? This blog explores all you need to know!
YPO have recently announced more details of their new framework for the procurement of telecommunications and network connectivity services and tech. Their YPO Network Connectivity and Telecommunication Solutions framework, run by themselves and held on their site, has an estimated £500m value during its lifetime and is set to provide a way for all public sector departments to procure their services.
So, what’s it all about? And who should consider getting on to the framework?
What is in scope?
The YPO Network Connectivity and Telecommunication Solutions framework plans to have a lot of communications tech and services included within it. As well as incorporating infrastructure.
The Lot structure has been outlined as:
- Lot 1 – Wide Area Network (WAN) Services
- Lot 2 – Local Area Network (LAN) Services
- Lot 3 – Digital Fibre Infrastructure Services
- Lot 4 – Smart Cities and IOT
- Lot 5 – Cyber Security Solutions
- Lot 6 – Communication Services
- Lot 7 – Mobile, Voice and Data
There’s a fair bit of crossover with Network Services 2, so if you’re on that – or missed out on that framework – then you should definitely be considering this one!

When does the YPO Network Connectivity and Telecommunication Solutions framework open?
The framework was originally scheduled to release the OJEU in mid-May. However we’re now looking at 29th June 2020, according to YPO. The application window will be open for around a month and is expected to close on 5th August 2020.
YPO want to get the framework live in September too, so there’s a quick turn around when it comes to awarding suppliers a place!
We think the YPO Networking & Connectivity framework is going to be a big one, so if you want to know more info about the framework – and how we can help get you listed – book a free consultation.
