What is the Media Monitoring framework?
Now approaching its second iteration, the Media Monitoring framework will shortly be open to new applicants.
What is the Media Monitoring framework for?
The framework provides public sector access to media monitoring and associated services. These services are typically used to:
- Monitor and analyse media coverage (press, online, broadcast, social media)
- Effectively evaluate communication campaigns.
What do we know about the current iteration?
The live iteration of the framework is called ‘Media Monitoring and Evaluation & Related Services’ ( RM3708) and has 7 suppliers appointed to it over two Lots. The framework was let in 2015 and is set to expire in May 2020.
The current Lots are:
- Lot 1: Media Monitoring and Evaluation and Related Services
- Lot 2: Social Media Monitoring and Analysis Tool
The exact Lots and scope have yet to be published for the new iteration of Media Monitoring. However, looking at the current live version it is unlikely to change too drastically from the above.
When can we expect more news?
The provisional timeline for the framework has been given by CCS.
