DOS4 is open for applications!
DOS4 has now opened for supplier applications. Here's a quick rundown of what you need to know about the framework.
The Digital Outcomes and Specialists 4 framework has opened today (8th July) for applications. Making up a big part of the Digital Marketplace, it’s a primary way for the public sector to buy new digital services.
With the window for applications expected to close on 15th August, the full provisional timeline for the framework was given at the techUK DOS4 Industry Briefing – which we took part in last month.
Provisional application timeline:
Action | Date |
---|---|
Applications open | 8th July |
Deadline for clarification questions | 1st August |
Answers to clarification questions published | 8th August |
Applications close | 15th August |
Successful suppliers notified | 17th September |
DOS4 goes live | 1st October |
How does DOS4 work?
Not much will change between the 3rd and 4th iterations of Digital Outcomes and Specialists, and the application process is expected to be the same. However, there is the introduction of some extra declarations, such as stating that you are compliant with the modern slavery act.
The framework is broken down into four Lots:
- Digital Outcomes – providing your services to work on digital services for buyers
- Digital Specialists – where suppliers can provide specialists, such as project managers, to work on projects
- User Research Labs – supplying research facilities for interviews etc
- User Research Participants – being able to provide people to take part in research
So, if you provide any of these things, and can meet the requirements of the framework, this is a great opportunity to win public sector business – as long as you know how. Our Strategic Adviser Lindsay Smith agrees that there is a great opportunity for SMEs too, with 34% of sales to date being awarded to them!
