Event: Procurement Unconference
We are very proud to be sponsoring the upcoming Procurement Unconference 2019 on 17th June hosted by Delta Procurement.
Why we decided to sponsor
We decided to get involved in this event for a few reasons, it was great last year and because it combines two of our favourite things, Procurement and Unconferences…
If you don’t know what an unconference is, it is an event that is loosely structured so participants can set the agenda and choose the topics discussed. It’s a really great way to hear from people you normally wouldn’t and ensures that attendees are active and engaged.
And, as always, we will take any chance we can get to talk procurement!
What we are hoping to get out of the day
Judging by the people who are arranging and even attending the event, we know it will be an inspiring and lively day. These events are a great way to ask challenging questions to keep the profession moving forward.
From our point of view, when we talk about procurement, we are talking about how the public sector buys its technology. Any discussions we can participate in that will lead to better buying practices and more collaborative supplier relationships, are OK with us! Because at the end of the day, it’s about how we can help government deliver the best possible services for users.
But that’s not to say it’s all about the public sector, this event is open to both public and private sectors to discuss the procurement challenges surrounding digital, data and technology.
