G-Cloud 11 deadline extended
With an extra week for applications, you might be tempted to put your feet up and relax – but we wouldn’t suggest that. Here's a few top tips on what you can be doing with this extra time.
CCS have announced that the deadline for suppliers to submit their listing has been pushed back from 15th May until 22nd May at 5pm. The reason being that they are still working on their answers to the many clarification questions submitted to them. There’s a lot more of them than they originally anticipated!
You don’t want to waste this time though, there are a few things you can be doing with the extra days. Here are our top tips…
Make sure your service definition is great
Go over your service definition one more time, at least. Or if you haven’t already, create one! We do say that it is a must-have to ensure better chances of success on G-Cloud. A few more days spent checking for errors and making sure you’re explaining everything your company can provide is a great idea. This document might be considered optional but, with an extra week to get this completed, there’s not much of an excuse not to have one!
Look at your competitors
Get a good sense of what’s being sold and to who in the public sector. This can give you some good information on what your competitors are doing well, or badly if they’re not doing any business at all. Check out our up-to-date G-Cloud spend data, and also search for their listings on G-Cloud to see what they are offering to buyers.
Double check and review!
It almost goes without saying. Spend this time to check you have all of the documents completed, and also that they include everything you need them to. Also, make sure your service title and summary are clear, searchable and explain your solution nicely.
So, now there’s an added week to G-Cloud applications, we recommend you use the time wisely. Carry out the tips listed here and you should be all set for deadline day!
