Introducing Danny
With all the framework fun going on at AC, we haven’t yet introduced our new team member: Danny! Danny joins us as an Operations Assistant.
To give Danny a (albeit belated) welcome to the team, we asked him a few questions about his time so far in the glamorous world of public sector procurement…
You’ve been here a couple of weeks now, what has been the best bit?
The best bit has been getting to know and work with the team! Everyone has been very welcoming, and I’ve learnt a lot already in the short time I’ve been here. I would also say that getting used to the different tech out there that is helping in the public sector is really interesting, and I’m really looking forward to learning more about the various ways we can help them sell to the public sector.
Are there any passions you would love to build on in this role?
I love innovation, creativity and new ideas. Working with clients whose services make a difference, and that are also are changing the way the public sector works, is something I really enjoy! I’m also passionate about marketing, so getting the opportunity to help SMEs get their services and products into the public sector and working with them closely in doing so is something I’m looking forward to getting stuck into.
You already have one framework under your belt, tell us a bit about how you found it?
Being involved with DAS was a great experience, and a bit of a baptism by fire! Working with clients to read and give feedback on their submissions for the framework was really fun. It gave me an opportunity to learn more about what the companies we work with do and gave me the chance to help and support them in meeting the deadline. It got quite busy towards the submission time, but it gave me the chance to work closely with the team to get everyone successfully over the line, which was great to be a part of.
A big welcome to Danny!
