Listing on G-Cloud 10 best practice guide
Last year prior to G-Cloud 9 opening, we published a series of best practice reports. We're back with updated G-Cloud research and advice to help you become one of the suppliers with a successful G-Cloud 10 listing!
G-Cloud 10 is now open for applications! To help you with your submission we yet again teamed up with Lindsay Smith from GCloudSalesUK and with the contribution of our Senior Advisers, created the ultimate G-Cloud 10 listing guide.
Last year our research showed how only 8% of SaaS suppliers were making sales over £100k on the G-Cloud framework. The good news is: this year’s analysis, which includes G-Cloud 9 sales, shows an increase from 8% to 13%. But, why are those 13% successful while others are not?
It all starts with a listing! If the submission is not of good quality and compliant you won’t be able to sell. In this report you will get actionable tips that will come in handy when finalising your G-Cloud framework application. And, don’t forget the application window closes 23rd of May!
In this G-Cloud 10 listing report we cover:
- The Pricing Document- research shows 48% of G-Cloud framework suppliers were non-compliant when it came to how they provided their pricing information. Find out why and where they went wrong.
- Service Definition– a whopping 29% of suppliers with 0 sales had a missing SD & 43% of them had a low quality one. We offer tips and advice on why you should include an SD and how to make it tip top.
- Security Certifications– we crunched the numbers to find out if getting certified really increases your chance of G-Cloud sales.
- Your front end listing– in this section we have analysed all the key common service features that have contributed to the success of those suppliers. Are you up to industry standard?
There have been over £2.8 billion of transactions through the G-Cloud framework since April 2012, and it currently gives 50,000 public sector buyers access to 20,000 services from over 2,800 suppliers.
This G-Cloud 10 report is based on the research Lindsay’s published earlier this month: ‘G-Cloud Success, Analysed; Failure Explained’ now available on sale in Beta!
