New Framework Coming Up: Application Solutions **September Update**
There’s a “new” framework on the block Application Solutions. Here’s what we found out.
*Update September 27th 2017: CCS during supplier engagement have announced a name change from Enterprise Software Solutions to Application Solutions, all other information remains the same**
Recently we caught wind of a new Crown Commercial Services framework: Application Solutions. Well perhaps not new, rather a replacement procurement vehicle for two and possibly 3 frameworks:
• Corporate Software Solutions (RM1042), aka CSS
• Local Authority Software Applications (RM1059), aka LASA
Very interesting for us! We love frameworks and this seemed as right up our alley. This is what we know up to now:
The framework kicked off with Crown Commercial Services organising a supplier day at Tech UK. We of course immediately signed up for it and attended alongside c50 other suppliers including the usual Big SI’s and a good number of SMEs. We also checked out the Prior Information Notice on TED. The PIN gives a good indication of the type of services that will be required, although nothing is firm yet.
At this stage, the plan is for the framework to procure software and hardware solutions for:
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP),
• Finance / Accounting, Human Resources (HR),
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM),
• Electronic Documents and Records Management (EDRM),
• Data Management and Reporting,
• Project Management,
• Supply Chain Management,
• Sector-specific applications such as:
– Revenues and Benefits
– Payments
– Libraries
– Housing
– Social Care
– Civil enforcement
– Environmental
– Waste Management, Museums, Sports and Recreation, Registrar, Burials and Crematoria and GIS.
Clearly this may be affected by the purdah period due to the forthcoming General Election on 8th June. Although not according to CCS…
The estimated timeline for procurement is as follows:

The next CCS Workshop for ESS is being held on 21st June and seeks feedback from potential suppliers and customers on the structure and scope of the agreement. And yes we will most likely be there and in that case will share what we hear.
After discussing it in the office we decided YES we can provide value here, so we’re happy to say we will be providing submission support. If interested just give us a call on 01273974414.
