We are proud to introduce the first instalment of our think piece series on what it takes to become a G-Cloud winner.

Did you sell over £100K on G-Cloud in the last 12 months?

 

Yes? Then you can probably spend your time on better things than reading this series.

 

No? Keep reading, because what we’re offering you in G-Cloud Success Insights is a way to fix that. It’s based on thorough research, many late nights of analysis, many years of IT and public sector procurement experience, and dozens of conversations with public sector buyers and the G-Cloud vendors who have cracked it.

 

Why bother? Because G-Cloud is worth it. There have been over £1.5 billion of transactions through it since April 2012, and it currently gives 36,000 public sector buyers access to 26,000 services from over 2,700 suppliers.

 

Over the 12 months to January 2016, reported SaaS sales showed that only 86 vendors (roughly 8%) had sales of over £100,000. These 86 companies accumulated £45million in 12 months; £30 million of this went to 66 companies designated as SMEs.
